Frequently Asked Questions
  • What are your business hours?

Our typical office hours are from 8-5 Eastern. However, we provide service 24/7 as needed.

  • What are the advantages or working with a Freight Broker?

A broker or agent's job is to find their customers the best solution to transport their materials. Brokers are experienced in shipping nearly every type of commodity and know the specifics of freight transport such as: (hazardous, freight class, endorsements, etc) and have relationships with carriers everywhere. All of this leads to a much smoother process for the shipper. Also, when working directly with asset-only carriers, issues may come up where they cannot move your freight and you might have a serious problem with no solution in sight, whereas when you are working with an experienced broker, they can recover the load and help minimize any damage. Contact Us to find out more.

  • Doesn't it cost more to work with a broker?

On average, shippers that utilize the services of a broker spend 13% less on transportation. Think of auto insurance, would you rather contact one company and get one rate or would you prefer an insurance broker shop for you and give you the best option based on their professional experience? Think of how that industry has changed with newer companies that actually post the rates of other insurers so customers can make their own decision. Freight brokers act in a similar way and want to get their customers the best rates possible, while also providing the best service.

  • How much do you charge per mile?

There's no short answer to this question. There are many factors, such as season, type of equipment needed and demand to name a few. In the years we've been doing this, we've seen just about every cycle and situation and can give you an educated answer, not just a quote off a load board. Contact us to find out more.

  • What is your minimum?

The short answer is: we have no minimum. However, we make our money by providing exceptional service and value and very much prefer to have an opportunity to prove that with every load.

  • How do I ship my car?

We do not have a program or algorithm that generates a quote automatically. If you'd like to get a quote, you will work with a person who knows what questions to ask and will provide a real quote. Our operations team will habdle the move of your vehicle from A to Z.
